BGM Remover is built so that we couldn't store your video even if we wanted to. Here is exactly what happens to your data.
What stays on your device
Your video file. It is opened and processed inside your browser with WebAssembly. It is never uploaded to any server — not ours, not a third party's.
What is sent for processing
Only the audio track of your video (typically about 1 MB per minute) is uploaded to a separation service, so that speech and music can be split. The uploaded audio is deleted automatically within an hour of use.
What we store
If you create an account: your e-mail address and remaining minutes. If you stay a guest: nothing. A record of your recent jobs is kept in your own browser's local storage and never leaves it.
Analytics
We count feature usage (for example: how many videos were separated today). These counts contain no personal data and no file contents.
